River Valley Ability Center

Who We Are

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to offer individuals of all ages with adaptive needs a social, creative, and physical outlet through recreational and educational activities.

Our Story

River Valley Ability Center was born out of a desire to help people of all ages and abilities participate in life-enriching activities and experiences.  We are thankful to have begun our journey of bringing hope, fun and accessible opportunities to individuals and their caregivers. At RVAC, we believe in empowering all people to experience life in positive and enriching ways and to be able to share that with others in the community.

Our Logo

Our logo was intentionally designed as a tree, representing life, growth, and strength. Four main branches represent our four core values of Respect, Valor, Adaptability, and Community. The branches extend upward representing our mission of helping all to achieve their highest potential. The tree is in the form of a mosaic, which represents smaller pieces coming together to create something new and larger than themselves.
